The Park is home to a remarkable collection of over 1,800 petroglyphs dating back about 2,000 years. These engravings, made by pecking on rocks, mainly feature geometric (circles, spirals) and zoomorphic motifs.
Rare Biodiversity
Sanctuary for Mandrills, Gorillas, and Elephants.
The park hosts the world's highest concentration of Mandrills. It is also a crucial refuge for Lowland Gorillas and Forest Elephants, protected in their intact natural habitat.
Mont Brazza
A historical name for an eternal panorama.
Named in honor of explorer Pierre Savorgnan de Brazza who stopped there during his expeditions, this iconic peak offers a spectacular view of the meanders of the Ogooué River. It is here that the history of exploration meets Gabon's natural majesty.
